Plitvice Lakes Attractions
The world-famous Plitvice Lakes were among the first natural sites to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Surrounded by mountain streams and deep forest, the delicate and incredibly beautiful ecosystem of Plitvice is always changing. Air and water-based plants are constantly building tiny crystalline barriers around the edges of each lake and little river, which means an entire new waterfall may be ready for your next visit. Even if you are not that lucky, each of the 16 lakes will be differently colored every time you look!
